Guest Access to Wireless Services

There are generally four options for guests who would like wireless network access while on campus:

1 - ANU-Access / ANU-Secure

ANU-Access and ANU-Secure require a University ID to connect. Guests who are affiliated with a particular academic or busniness unit on campus may request a form of Uni ID called an Affiliate ID via their Local IT Support person (LITSS). This may also include visitors who are under some form of work contract with ANU.

2 - Conferences

Temporary conference logins can be obtained for academic conference attendees upon request by the LITSS of that area. Guests may access ANU-Access with these logins, but not ANU-Secure.

LITSS should email wireless@anu.edu.au directly with 'conference' in the subject. Include the name of the conference, and the start and end dates and we will respond with a username and password that will work for the conference duration.

3 - EduRoam

Not currently available

4 - UniHouse

Guests staying in University House may contact the UniHouse LITSS to obtain temporary guest access within the area of University House.
